About this event
Induction is an important step in ensuring your board members understand their role and responsibilities. What legal duties apply? When are you personally responsible if things go wrong, and what protections are available?
In our popular Board Inductions webinar, we'll help answer these questions and give you tips on how to improve your induction process. You will take with you a checklist of what to include in an induction to set your Board up for success.
We’ll cover:
- Why is board induction important, and who is responsible for it?
- What should happen before the appointment of a new board member?
- What should be covered in a board induction?
- Checklists for what to think about at each step
You'll receive:
- Opportunity to ask questions of the presenter
- 75 minutes of plain-language training from a lawyer
- Copy of webinar recording (available for 3 months) and slide presentation
- Information on further resources and support
