Privacy matters. There’s a lot to consider regarding privacy, the law and not-for-profit community organisations.
In this 3 hour session, we’ll take you through the personal information lifecycle: from collection of data, through to use and disclosure, storage and access, and finish up with what to do if there is a complaint or a breach.
You'll learn about:
- Commonwealth privacy laws
- How to legally collect, use and store personal information
- Documents and systems you need in place
- Rights to access personal information
- Handling a privacy complaint or data breach
We’ll also give you top tips and additional resources to help you in the future.
