Hiring, Performance Management and Termination Checklists

We have produced three checklists on hiring, performance management and termination to assist Local Aboriginal Land Councils (LALCs) to understand some of the key legal issues that can arise at these important stages of the employment relationship. Further legal resources on employment can also be accessed on our Employees webpage.

Template CEO Employment Agreement and Fact Sheet

We have produced a (full time and part time) Template Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Employment Agreement and accompanying fact sheet explaining important clauses in the Employment Agreement for LALCs in New South Wales to use when recruiting for the position of CEO.

While the template Employment Agreement is a good starting point, it may not suit your LALC’s particular situation. We strongly encourage you to get tailored legal advice from a lawyer before finalising any Employment Agreement.

To support you with the use of these documents, including providing your LALC with legal advice (if your LALC is eligible), we ask that you fill in the form below. You will need to fill in this form to access the Template CEO Employment Agreement. Once you have completed the form you will be able to download the document.
