Training overview

There are many benefits to collaborating with other NFPs – from accessing funding to increasing your reach in the community. However it’s important you understand the legal side of various working arrangements and what they might mean for your organisation.

This training session is designed to:

  • outline the legal options available for formally working with other organisations

  • highlight the top ten key legal issues your organisation should consider (e.g. client files and privacy)

  • help you avoid negative legal consequences that can arise from poorly-planned collaborations

Suitable for People involved in not-for-profit community organisations of all sizes and legal structures, including unincorporated groups.

Standard length 3 hours

Facilitator lawyer from NFP Law with expertise in charity and not-for-profit law and experience in providing training to community groups
