NOT-FOR-PROFIT LAW provided feedback on the draft Funded Services Agreement and the draft Standard Grant Agreement, released by the South Australian Government

On 20 December 2017, Not-for-profit Law made a submission to the South Australian Department of Treasury and Finance in relation to a set of draft agreements to be used by Government when contracting with not-for-profits (collectively referred to as the ‘Exposure Drafts’). More information can be found here.

Our submission welcomes the South Australian Government’s move towards a simplified and consistent approach to funding and grant agreements for the not-for-profit sector. We believe that the Exposure Drafts are a step in the direction towards an improved framework for funding the work of the not-for-profit sector.

Not-for-profit Law used the submission as an opportunity to identify a number of areas in which the Exposure Drafts could be amended to ensure that not-for-profits are better able to understand, comply with and deliver on the requirements of their funding agreements.
